# Apply access

Only [registered](https://asiointi.uef.fi/ssc/app#/order/1924144/) UEF researchers and students are eligible to gain access to the server infrastructure at **[[https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/0B7984A9E5181C3C|Apply for Server Access]]**. The access is admitted for 2 years at a time and the users should renew it by filling a new application.

## Usage Agreement
When using infrastructure and services provided by the Bioinformatics Center, users agree to following rules and regulations:

  * Infrastructure should be used for research and educational purposes only.
  * Bioinformatics Center does not guarantee that your data will be backed up and is recoverable. Therefore users are required to keep external copies of their important data.
  * Users should acknowledge using Bioinformatics Center infrastructure, e.g. in their publications or course material. See further details from [[guides:cite|Acknowledge and cite]].
