# Remote access 
All services provided by Bioinformatics Center are available only from UEF intranet. However, if you are travelling or use your personal laptop or phone some extra software and/or actions are required.

## Using UEF laptop

  * **AlwaysonVPN**: UEF University laptop with Windows 10 is always automatically connected to the university intranet.
  * **Netscaler**: With macOS machine end-user need to use the UEF Netscaler VPN service.

## Using personal laptop or phone

  * **SSH Gateway**: Use [[guides:ssh-gateway|sshgw.uef.fi]] SSH gateway server.
